Touchscreen Config for Iiamy Pro Lite PL T1730-SR

If you happen to have the problem that it seems like your settings in xorg.conf are beeing ignored, it's most likely because the Monitor is beeing configured by the automatic setup of the X Server.

For Monitors with egalax interfaces (Iiamy Pro Lite PL T1730-SR or T1731-SR for example)

You can edit or replace the file in /usr/share/hal/fdi/policy/20thirdparty/50-eGalax.fdi with this content:

<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
<deviceinfo version="0.2">
 <device>
   <match key="info.product" contains="eGalax">
     <match key="info.capabilities" contains="input">
       <merge key="input.x11_driver" type="string">evtouch</merge>
       <merge key="input.x11_options.maxx" type="string">260</merge>
       <merge key="input.x11_options.miny" type="string">230</merge>
       <merge key="input.x11_options.minx" type="string">3826</merge>
       <merge key="input.x11_options.maxy" type="string">3769</merge>
       <merge key="input.x11_options.rotate" type="string">cw</merge>
       <merge key="input.x11_options.taptimer" type="string">30</merge>
       <merge key="input.x11_options.longtouchtimer" type="string">7500</merge>
       <merge key="input.x11_options.longtouched_action" type="string">click</merge>
       <merge key="input.x11_options.longtouched_button" type="string">3</merge>
     </match>
   </match>
 </device>

just as a notice for myself:
